Story
The founders of this organization are 14 year-old twins who live in the Roaring Fork Valley. Meet:
Will, a passionate reader who goes everywhere with a book! The most common phrase in our house is "WILL, PUT DOWN THAT BOOK!!!"

We are so lucky that we have always had access to good education and practically unlimited books, but we realize that not everybody gets this amazing opportunity. Did you know that only 40% of 3rd graders in Colorado can read at their grade level? We started this organization to help children in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond develop a love of reading.
Pass the Book is an online gently used book store that specializes in books for kids, ranging from toddlers to young adults. We offer a wide selection of gently used books at affordable prices. Our mission is to foster a love of reading in more children. We re-home gently used books to kids in our local community to make reading more accessible and fun.
Meet our 2 organizations that all of the proceeds of this bookstore go to:
- Maloto, which supports children in Malawi by providing food, education, and empowerment opportunities (visit Maloto)
- Raising a Reader Aspen to Parachute, which sends four books home with students every week and offers other valuable programs (visit Raising A Reader).
